DESCRIPTION:Since 2016 HELP’s donors have been giving to the ’Sipho’s
  Stars’ project which aims to put Christmas gifts in the hands of as man
 y children as possible in Khayelitsha Township in Cape Town in South Afric
 a.\nHELP sends funds to our partner Uyesu Unathi which are all used to buy
  items locally\, compile packages and distribute them to children who woul
 d otherwise not receive a Christmas gift.\nKHAYELITSHA TOWNSHIP \nwas cre
 ated during apartheid for migratory  workers. 'Khayelitsha’ means new h
 ome.\nPOPULATION:  2.4 million+ (estimate)\nHOUSING:  70% of people live
  in shacks\nWORK:   Unemployment rate is 73%\nPROBLEMS:  Poverty\, crime
 \, overcrowding\, poor sanitation &amp\; access to water\, health care &am
 p\; education.\nHOW TO BE A STAR IN A CHILD'S LIFE\nYour donation of $11 b
 uys a gift for a child in need. \n(Gift packages include a t-shirt\, a pa
 ir of thongs\, a toy and a treat.)\nWe send accumulated donations to Uyesu
  Unathi \nThey purchase\, pack and personalise (your name on a star) the 
 gift for distribution.
