Temcare

Temcare, is a Christian social services agency operating since 1968 providing a range of support services for families and individuals in Melbourne, Victoria.

Temcare’s services are grouped under the following program areas:

• Regular day respite care for children [RESPITE CARE]
• Prisoner’s family support for adolescent children of prisoners [HOPE]
• Mentoring for adolescents [MATES]
• Practical support for very young families [NURTURE]
• Encouraging and providing assistance and referral advice for unexpectedly pregnant women [SAFE]
• We provide free school holiday camps and annual camps for families and youth in our programs [CAMPS]

Temcare’s Mission Statement declares that it is “a Bible-based Christian welfare agency committed to Jesus’ teachings and intent on reflecting His love to those in need.”
