As a Church community we value being proactive in how we care for each other and respond to the issues of the day.
We are a people who trust our faithful God and we seek not to make reactive decisions or respond to fear in the community. Yet we also seek to be wise at a time that is highly unusual for all of us.
In light of the recent concerns in our community about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want you to know that our Leadership Team & Staff are taking every precaution to keep our church family healthy.
As the situation has been rapidly evolving from day to day, the Leadership Team, acting on expert medical advice, have made the difficult decision to suspend all group meetings and activities. This includes Youth and all our Early Childhood ministries.
We will worship together on-line only, at 10 AM on Sundays during this difficult global situation. Online viewing is the perfect way to be part of our church during this time. Visit the Warrandyte Community Church Facebook page to watch our livestream.
We will keep you updated when there are further developments.
If you are aware of people in our church family who might be socially isolated, we would encourage you to reach out to them with a phone call or text to connect with them.
As the Psalmist writes: “We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. In him we rejoice, and we trust Him wholeheartedly.”
Let’s lean in together to this great truth at this time.
