Welcome to Warrandyte Community Church!

BELONG. BELIEVE. BECOME

I'm New to WCC

WCC is a vibrant community in the suburb of Warrandyte. Our building overlooks the banks of the Yarra river and has many community groups meet there throughout the week. We meet as a church each Sunday at 10am for an engaging service catered for all ages that will leave you feeling inspired.

We understand that coming to a new church for the first time can sometimes be intimidating. So, below are some answers to some of our frequently asked questions for new people planning a visit.

Planning a Visit?

Here are some answers to common questions.

The entire service is usually concluded within an hour and a half.

The service order can vary slightly, but we usually begin with the band and singers leading the congregation in two or three worship songs. This is followed by a welcome, announcements and receiving an offering. We then give everyone an opportunity to participate in Communion followed by teaching a message that is relevant to everyday life.

Feel free to wear whatever you are most comfortable in. Most wear smart casual attire to services.

The main entrance for our services is via the side entrance  of the building. We have two car parks, one up the top as you enter, there is two spots reserved for elderly and one disabled car spot. The other is at the rear of the building. There is also a disabled spot oppersite the main side entrance.

You are welcome to sit wherever you like in the auditorium. There are designated wider rows for parents with prams at the back of the auditorium. If you are unsure where to go, just ask one of our friendly ushers and they will help find you a seat.

During the service children’s ministries are available so that parents can enjoy the service. We have TinyTots in the Cry Room (walking – 3YO), Jellybeans (3YO - preschool), Kids Church (Primary School Age) and Wired (Yrs 7 - 12) programs. Your children can expect to have fun and learn about God and Jesus and how Christian faith through a variety of  games, activities and crafts.

We do not expect guests to give in the offering. At no time are members of WCC under any compulsion to give, however we do teach Biblical principles of generosity.
