We support and have people involved in the following missional activities:
Kirk and Christine Franklin have been serving full time with Wycliffe for over 40 years. Kirk held leadership roles with Wycliffe Australia from 1991-2007 and was the Executive Director of the Wycliffe Global Alliance from 2008-2020. He is now involved in research, publishing, training, facilitating and teaching in the general area of global missional leadership through a cooperative agreement between Wycliffe Australia and the Melbourne School of Theology, Oxford Centre for Mission Studies (UK) and the Wycliffe Global Alliance. Christine is the Bookroom Manager at the Wycliffe Australia National Centre and is involved in tutoring in English for Bible translators from Indonesia and the Pacific Islands. Kirk and Christine have three adult married children and three grandsons. The Franklins have been part of Warrandyte Community Church since 1991.
ICC have established permanent locations in China that provide full-time family-style care for orhpaned children in Changsha and Hengyang in Hunan Province. WCC supports the work of ICC and provides assistance to the ongoing work.
Lyndel Clancy who is an active member of WCC is the Australian Director for ICC.
Mukti Australia is a Christian organisation seeking to empower disadvantaged children and women in India and Sri Lanka through a range of development initiatives that demonstrate, in a practical way, the love of Jesus Christ.
Compassion is a Christian international holistic child development organisation. Through our Child Sponsorship Program, more than 2 million children are currently being released from poverty in Jesus’ name.
