The Word at Work: Learning to Teach, Preach, and Communicate Faithfully

A three-part seminar series for everyone who teaches, preaches, or shares from the Bible

Whether you lead a devotional, teach a Bible study, or preach occasionally, this hands-on seminar series is for you. Together, we’ll grow in our handling of Scripture responsibly, in thinking biblically in a digital age, and in communicating God’s truth in ways that form faith, deepen understanding, and build community.

Session 1: Smart Tools, Wise Hearts: Using AI Responsibly in Bible Study and Message Preparation

Overview: Technology is reshaping how we study and prepare—but how do we use it faithfully? This session explores how AI and digital tools can support biblical study without replacing prayer, discernment, or the Spirit’s work.

Focus: Ethical and wise use of AI in teaching Scripture.

We'll explore:

  • What AI can-and cannot-do in Bible study
  • Ethical use, integrity, and plagiarism awareness
  • Recognising when help becomes dependence
  • Practices for keeping technology a servant, not a master
