The Spirit Engages the World (Acts 17:1-34)

As Paul proclaims Christ in diverse settings, the Spirit empowers thoughtful engagement with culture, questions, and belief systems. This passage challenges us to witness wisely and courageously, connecting the gospel to the longings and ideas shaping the world around us. (Note: study questions for the message are released on the church’s sermon page on the Monday after each sermon, and to find them, go here and scroll until you find the Sunday listed: https://wcc.org.au/podcasts/media/series.)

Here is a combined and streamlined set of questions for Acts 17:1–34, with two questions in each category:

Personal Application Questions

  2. When facing mixed responses (interest, indifference, or rejection), what does faithful witness look like for you in light of Paul’s example?
