Topic 1 - The Creator and His Creation

[August 4] Topic 1 - The Creator and His Creation (chapter 1:1-25) – Carlo Jacobs

Introduction to reading Genesis: We start the series with an overview of how we read and interpret Genesis. Then, we enter the opening and encounter the majestic account of God’s creative power, bringing light, land, and life. We explore the significance of God’s creative power, the order and purpose in His design, and marvel at what it means for us to be made in His image. This sets the stage for understanding our relationship with the Creator and the world around us.

  • A thought to ponder: How does understanding God as the Creator impact our view of the world and our place within it?
